Delano Massey is a multimedia journalist who worked at newspapers as both a reporter and an editor, and successfully transitioned to digital leadership in broadcast news.
Massey joined The Associated Press in 2016. He is the deputy news director for storytelling in the central United States, the 14 states stretching from Texas to the upper Midwest. Massey manages the region’s integrated editing desk and is the point person in devising creative and engaging ways to present content across formats. He also helps lead AP's nationwide Race and Ethnicity reporting team.
